A Busy Day In Hong Kong-Part 1

We woke up on July 11th ready for a very busy day in Hong Kong. The day was packed with activities. Unfortunately, the day also started with a lot of rain. Cary and I were able to walk to the water front at Victoria Harbor before the rain came and before heading out for the day. It sure was foggy though!

Our first stop of the day was the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It was not nearly as exciting as I had hoped for. Since everything is electronic now, you just see people sitting at computers. We couldn't take any pictures of the actual exchange floor, but they had some great props around for picture taking.

The rain stopped just in time for our morning cruise around Victoria Harbor. It was still pretty muggy and foggy though.

There were beautiful orchids everywhere in Hong Kong and they were so cheap!

More busy streets in China

Next we headed up Victoria Peak for a bird's eye view of Hong Kong. The rain stayed away, but you couldn't see much across the harbor on the Kowloon side.

We aren't too far from London or home!
